A collaboration between MAYICE and ÁBBATTE.

ÁBBATTE’s virgin silk is a truly exceptional fiber, unlike the more commonly known version. It is silk in its purest state, as if just emerged from the cocoon. It is neither shiny nor overly soft to the touch, but has a muted sheen and a substantial body, allowing the creation of volumes that hold their form.

The glass cocoon designed by MAYICE has been crafted by one of the few remaining master glassblowers in Spain. The blowing was done on a lathe, a technique that ensures precision and lightness. The edges have been fire-polished to increase their hardness and durability.

SEDA is a tribute to the mastery of craftsmanship, an homage to the trades that honor skill and tradition. An artistic piece that creates warm, enveloping atmospheres and fosters serenity.
