At ÁBBATTE, we collaborate with interior designers, architects and design studios from around the world, on both full-scale textile projects and the creation of singular pieces that enrich and elevate spaces.

Our bespoke creations include bedspreads, blankets, bed runners, rugs, cushions, curtains, sheers, headboards, table linens, tapestries and textile room dividers. We also design special weaves for upholstery. Every piece is born from a shared belief: that materiality should not be concealed, but revealed.

We work exclusively with noble materials: alpaca, merino wool with silk, alpaca-silk blends, linen, silk, hemp, cashmere, or traditional Spanish wool, all 100% natural. Our designs are refined and understated, offered in a range of classic weaves (plain, twill, herringbone, bird’s eye) and a palette of natural dyes crafted to order.

Each piece is woven by hand on manual looms up to a maximum width of 3.10 metres. For larger sizes, we join several panels and make the seams part of the design, either with tone-on-tone stitching that is almost invisible or with contrasting accents that enhance composition and character.

We adapt our pieces to a wide variety of uses and styles, including extra-wide formats for large-scale applications.

Our workshop in the former abbey of Santa María de la Sierra houses both weaving and dyeing facilities, allowing us to oversee every step of the process with care and precision.
