ÁBBATTE is also a project of research and dissemination focused on the world of textiles and colour. We explore topics ranging from the revival of traditional textile techniques and their historical uses to sustainability and contemporary design.
Our cultural programme includes courses, lectures and workshops on natural dyes, weaving, basketry, painting on silk, and the history of fashion, among others.
At ÁBBATTE, we aim to promote knowledge of the textile world to help spread its value.
