The Team
ÁBBATTE is made up of a team united by a passion for textile craftsmanship, nature, and the preservation of our intangible heritage.
At its helm are Elena Goded Rambaud, the founder of the studio, and Camila Lanzas, its creative director. Elena is a biologist and was a senior lecturer in Textile Craft at UNED for over 20 years. Camila is an art historian and designer. Together, they form a perfect partnership that balances traditional craftsmanship with creative experimentation and deep respect for noble materials.
In Madrid, the team managing ÁBBATTE’s operations, sales, and communication comprises Valentina Vlaicu, Nina Popovici, and María Noval-Quílez.
The Segovia team is made up of Cristina Escribano, María del Carmen Gimeno, Carmen Palermo, Marta Rueda, and Ana María Martín Gil, who once worked with the San Pablo workshops led by the renowned Gerda Kramer and later helped launch the new Abbatte team.
Diego de Allas San Román is responsible for the botanical garden and the overall maintenance of our site and the monastery.
