Eclectic style

ÁBBATTE is our artisanal brand that creates handmade textiles in the Cistercian abbey of Santa María de la Sierra, in Castilla. All pieces are made from high-quality natural fibers, with designs based on the structural effects of the materials.
Each piece is woven on manual looms, slowly and with meticulous attention to detail by a team of weavers who create artistic objects for everyday life. First, samples are developed during the design phase; then the warp is prepared and set on the loom. Once woven, the pieces are hand-washed and finished. The result is exquisite items like the table linen shown in the image.
The image shows a natural-colored linen tablecloth, woven in panels determined by the width of the loom, with the seams embroidered in blue to emphasize the lines. Also featured in the setting is a maple wood lamp by Siete Formas, which shares the same philosophy of handmade craftsmanship with attention to detail.
The eclectic style is a constant in ÁBBATTE, where we use an undefined color palette and natural materials as the common thread of the brand, carefully selecting cultural influences from around the world.
Natural materials bring harmony to the open-plan spaces of this home, located in the heart of Madrid’s Justicia neighborhood.
