Contemporary craft for aesthetic connoisseurs
Handmade pieces crafted from natural fibres with a contemporary approach — this is the philosophy of ÁBBATTE. A constant tribute to artisanal work. It is, above all, a project of contemporary craftsmanship.

Our team is engaged in a continual search for the beauty of what is authentic, weaving together in each piece history, science, botany and textile tradition.
ÁBBATTE’s pieces are artisanally woven, slowly and with meticulous attention to detail, by a team of local weavers who create special objects for daily life.
In the West, light has always been the greatest ally of beauty. In contrast, traditional Japanese aesthetics are rooted in capturing the mystery of shadow.
The Japanese writer Junichirō Tanizaki, in his book In Praise of Shadows, conveys the idea that beauty is not a “substance” in itself, but a play of chiaroscuro — the subtle interplay of elements that shape the modulations of shadow.
At ÁBBATTE, we embrace this vision of beauty shaped by the dance between light and shade.
It is in the details and the creation of unique pieces where ÁBBATTE finds its essence, giving centre stage to the natural qualities of textile fibres and their behaviour.
This new form of craftsmanship brings together tradition and modernity, innovation and know-how. A design that prioritises emotion, using evocative materials and refined lines.
It is a complex craft, yet also a meditative, manual task — each piece the result of an individual process, made with different threads and colours that are never exactly the same. That is why ÁBBATTE’s creations are made to last.
ÁBBATTE produces high-quality textiles, creating useful and meaningful objects — free from fashion or fleeting trends. Our purpose is to integrate ancient textile techniques with a carefully considered aesthetic, in response to a new way of life.
Today, people seek brands that contribute to a better world. That’s why we believe it is essential to cultivate a spirit of responsibility and awareness — towards the community, and especially towards the environment — by creating a botanical garden of dye plants, the only one of its kind in the region.
